Two circular towers with decorative tiled domes dominate the exterior of this beautifully appointed small family beach house. 

A dramatic staircase leads up from the expansive white sandy beach up to the second floor rooftop swimming pool (7.2 meters in length) with a walk up and swim up bar area. Spectacular views of the Caribbean from the pool with decorative tiles adorning the bottom depicting a red headed mermaid riding a turtle.

The privacy wall next to the pool is covered with iridescent Italian glass tiles and on either side of the raised semi circular stained glass window are 2 stone fish gargoyles. This space, with its floor cover of consuela tiles, is shared with a tile covered al-fresco dining area with a hand carved 10 seater native hard wood dining table.

The door from this outdoor lounging, swimming and dining area leads into the main living quarters. This charming and cozy place has a living room with a sofa bed, comfy armchair and built in desk area. A small full bath with granite accents is attached.

The colorfully tiled kitchen has a restaurant quality stove and a granite countertop/breakfast bar. Although a small area, there is plenty of storage space in the custom built cabinetry. The circular dining table sits perfectly in the large bay window.

The bedroom sits off the dining area and has a small balcony that could be used for drinking coffee in the mornings or for relaxing in a hammock in the afternoons. A carved Mayan deity sits in prominence at the  center of the headboard.

The en suite bathroom is in one of the two towers and has beautiful Talavera tile, glass block and a raised marble sink.

The first floor is a separate apartment with an independant entrance. There is a small but adequate kitchen placed inside the circular tower complete with stove top and fridge. 

The living room faces sliding glass doors where one steps on directly onto the beautiful expansive beach with its many coco palms.

The downstairs bathroom with its Talavera tiles has a custom carved marble sink. Another section of the downstairs can be locked off or left open and has 2 day beds and in another custom built closet, the washer and dryer.

The rooftop entertainment area with built in bar and seating area offers 360º sunrise and sunset views over the Caribbean in front and the mangroves behind.  

Near the staircase leading up to the pool is a large built in grill decorated with hand carved Mayan symbols.

At the back of the house is a small lush garden with fruit trees and other native plants and a meandering “Sac-Be” path.
